This format contributes to making scientific findings more reliable and replicable. The review process for Registered Reports is divided into two stages. In Stage 1, reviewers assess study proposals before data is collected. In Stage 2, reviewers consider the full study, including results and interpretation.
This format is especially useful for early career researchers, who may start writing their paper and benefit from Stage-1 acceptance before data collection.
To know more about registered reports, visit our guidelines for authors or check the Center for Open Science website.

International Review of Social Psychology is very happy to announce the launch of its latest special collection, 'Methodological resources for social psychologists'.
More than ever, methodological concerns have become central issues in social psychological research. The quality of our research is based on a solid knowledge of methodological and statistical tools proposed and discussed in the literature. The goal of the present special collection is to present in a pedagogical way recent advances in methodological or statistic tools that are useful for social psychologists.
The collection is available now, with further publications to be added soon.
